I think that the fact that you can now buy films on DVD is great and you get better quality etc. etc. is excellent but the players are where I feel we have been let down, it is never made common knowledge whether or not a recordable DVD player comes out. If this happens everyone who bought a standard DVD player will feel short changed. Also the Video will surely become a thing of the past once prices drop. I don't mean to upset people who have spent a lot on DVD players but in the near future I can see DVD Writers taking the place of Video.
