You would have thought that he would have had more tact, but last night shamed Matthew Kelly returned to play the part of Captain Hook in a production of Peter Pan at the ‘Birmingham Rep Theatre’
The role of Captain Hook is perhaps a suitable one for disgraced Kelly, 52, given that the villain (Hook) terrorises children in the land where children never grow up. How many lives has Kelly ruined in a similar fashion to the way Captain Hook tried to ruin the lives of the Peter Pan.

Now I feel sorry for Sara Payne, as she had her daughter, Sarah, murdered, but has she never heard of the saying “innocent until proven guilty?”
Apparently Matthew Kelly was given a standing ovation when he appeared on stage last night, and Sara said “I can’t believe that people are so quick to support him.... he is facing very serious accusations”
yes. Accusations. If he’s proven guilty, then he’ll get what he deserves, but you do have to wonder why this “Operation Arundel” has taken a further two years to uncover anyone else after Jonathan King...?

Yes, the press do seem to be having problems with this concept of how the laws of this land work - as you point out - ; everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and even then in some cases people have later been proved innocent, such as the Birmingham 6 and a whole heap more.
Still, once this has blown over, and if Matthew Kelly is not found guilty, he will undoubtedly sue a lot of people, and retire on the proceeds.
Anyway, Peter Pan mercilessly dispatches Captain Hook, wages a guerilla war on the adults of his world, and steals children from ours to take to his - where he prevents them ever growing up and wishes to keep them. Technically Peter Pan is just as much the bad guy as Captain Hook....and yes, my English media teacher really did have a thing for attacking Disney films :)
