It's a comedy on Channel 4 which I think is being repeated and then a second series is been shown.
Basics is that a young(ish) American writer comes to Glasgow and is trying to meet people after staying here a while so sets up a book group. The people in it include an arty English bloke who is very funny, three footballer's wifes, a disabled bloke and a football fanatic neddy bloke.
Last night's was great... the football fanatic bloke has his turn of having the group round to his house and picks the book... it happens to be 'The Little Train that Could'.
