Swansea University to host welsh sheepdog trials gig.

Swansea students union has become the favourite to host the Welsh sheepdog trials. This announcement has come after the
competition organisers decided to hold the event indoors after the recent foot and mouth disaster. The competition will undoutably be a success due to the large crowds that will be attracted to the site, as the event will be held on a Friday night (cheap beer).

New events are also to be considered for the tournament, including the:

'JC's bar slalom', where sheep and dogs alike will wade thorugh the student drunkards during the pound a pint night.

the discotek challenge (to take place in the the student nightclub) - where the sheepdogs competing will have to direct the sheep to the beat of kareoke

the Time challenge - dogs will have to round up sheep into taxis to be taken to the students favourite nightspot, Time nightclub, where free entry will be given the the first ten dogs and there sheep that get there.

The finishing pen will be found in the cloakroom, where all sheep will be sheared, before they can enter the club, which is adorned by many 'skin heads'

To top off the celebrations, there will be many fair ground rides for the spectators, including the Fulton house death slide bannistair, the mary williams lift drop of death and the fire truck alarm test (only available between the hours of three and 6 in the morning).

Star attrations include a sheep chicken, as well as the never before seen sheep man. The organisers are however worried about crowd control and losing many precious sheep to sheep-nappers during the tournament

Other bids in the Swansea area include the local Tesco and the local bus station.

Tickets will be available from the Stundent Union 'ents' office

I had a sheepdog once. It put up a decent fight but soon faltered after I'd knee-capped it with a machete. The shepherd was distraught and his shrill whistles were soon replaced with guttural sobs.
