Jack Black has nothing to do with it - Jack White, on the other hand, does. The band claim it is just some random bloke picked up off the street, but then they also claim the sax solo is done by Bill Clinton. Kooky.

Electric Six were also originally touted as a Detroit collective group, Jack White's home town. As the named memebers of Electric Six used to go under another name in another band it would also make sense that they took a new name to form this collective.

Oh, and it also sounds really, really like Jack White.

The only time I heard it was either of them was from you, but I've heard since from various 'official' new sources that it's neither of them. Try Ananova.com - 'twas there that I saw it.

Could just be a diversion tactic so that it doesn't become a novelty hit for the Electric 6.

Is it Jack White on vocals? At first I thought it was Jack White and Jack Black from Tenacious D, but I've since been told it's neither of them. Help!

I can't see why everyones ranting over them at the mo at all - is it for the ripe brie riff and gorgonzola ltyrics? Or is it the 40 year old ex-mp lookalike with flashing boobs?
