Hi, I'm still waiting for my PS2 to arrive and a friend has already bought me FIFA 2001 for it. Unfortunately it's not specifically the PS2 version but the normal PS version. Will it be faster and better looking running on the PS2 or the same, should I swap it for the PS2 version?. Are there other games like this with multiple versions that I should look out for?.

It won't look any different than on the original PS, though with the PS2 options it may load quicker. I'd recommend changing it for the PS2 version, as it looks at least 10 times better and is much smoother to play.
There are - or will be (probably) - several games that are out for both formats. They'll be easy to tell apart though, because the PS2 games are in DVD-style cases. Of course, if you buy via mail order, you won't see them - so in that case make sure it clearly says "PS2" for the games you order!
