I think that the ones on the Nintendo64 devalued the games that the accessories were bunded with.
Lylat Wars was a great game, but was bundled with a Rumble Pak, and was quite a high price when it was released, so even though it was a great game, it wasn't bought in huge quantities.
Donkey Kong 64 came bundled with an Expansion Pak, which was necessary to play the game, but as it had been available for 12 months already it wasn't necessary to bundle it with the game, and the game wasn't easy to find without the Pak either!
It also looks as though the game is of poor quality, and they need to ship it with an accessory to sell it, when I think that both of these games are very good!
Maybe Sega have got the right idea, bundle weird accessories with the games, like marraccas (excuse my spelling, I'm no musician), that would probably never be used for another game, so just looks like a neat gimmick.
So what do you think of such bundles?
Occaisionally though you can find a bundle that has absolutely positively everything you wanted to buy when you started out on your shopping trip. Unfortunately, this has never happened with me. So I end up buying separates.
