Every time i try to set up a cgi script i keep getting unauthorized access can someone please tell me what im doing wrong

The only reason I can think of, is CHMOD, you may have CHMOD set higher than you should, check with Getdotted the correct CHMOD settings.

In short No...

... because you didn't tell us what you were trying to do.

If you were trying to write to a local file, you must get the path absolutely right or it won't work.

Put the script up and tell us what it's supposed to do.
