Bt and Ntl have been at war now for ages in the internet. It does not seem to stop. They are literally killing each other with prices. Especially NTL. But there is going to be a change when each company release there high speed internet acess modems for high prices. They are starting at £40 a mounth but are rumoured to drop down to just £5 a mounth. They are killing themselves. It is good for us but it could end up in bancrupcy which won't be good!

It's allready here from NTL(almost, I don't think it'll go quite that low), only gets you a 64k connection, but you can upg to 512k anytime at £20p/m.

Current prices run

Renting modem as part of price
512k - £24.99 p/m
64k - £14.99 p/m

Buy cable modem up front for one off £150 or so
512k - £19.99 p/m
64k - £9.99 p/m

£5 a month that sounds good to me!!
