B: Bosses. These guys have got to be really evil. And scary. Big is good too.
C: Controls. You want to be able to pick up and play, not read a 32 page manual on how to run!
D: Difficulty. This has got to be set just right, too hard and gamers will get frustrated, too easy, and the game will offer no challenge.
E: Enemies. These have to be well placed on the levels, and they have to look like enemies!
F: FMV. A little can add to the game, too much breaks it up (unless it's used well).
G: Graphics. Although not the most import factor in making a game great, if its awesome to look at, it'll make the bad bits of gameplay less noticeable!
H: Humour. Hard to get right, but a little humour can really add to the atmosphere of a game.
I: Intelligence (Artificial). Look at the bots on that! Remember the days when enemies just marched up and down a corridor, and you could walk right past them?
J: Jams. (Okay I struggled here) You know what I mean though, when you get stuck in a game for a little while, and it takes a little working out.....
K: Knowledge. A little knowledge goes a long way, so they say.
L: Level design. Very important to get this right, with the enemies in the right places, and a few secrets!
M: Multiplayer. Making gaming more social!
N: Noise. Because I had better things for M than Music, and S for Sound! But this whole aspect of gaming is very important. A decent soundtrack, and sound effects plays a huge part in setting the right atmosphere.
O: Originality. Something new is always welcome.
P: Puzzles. Not too tough, and not too easy, will add much fun to the game.
Q: Quality. I'd rather have 1 good game than 10 bad ones.
R: Realism. Just a little of this is needed, especially in the physics of the game.
S: Story. You can get completely lost in a good story.
T: Testing. It's always obvious when a game hasn't had enough testing, because it's full of bugs and glitches.
U: User Interface. A bad one of these can ruin a game.
V: View. The perspective taken for any game is very important.
W: Website. So you can look stuff up on the internet.
X: Xtras. Mini-games etc, such as Hang-On and Space Harrier in Shenmue.
Y: You, becuase we need people to play the games.
Z: Zealots. What would we do withou zealots insisting that their chosen game, or console is the best no matter what!
> Well at least it's about gaming.
