I've heard about this game but i've never really bothered to read any reviews for the two Sly games out right now. I've just found out that it's from the makers of Ratchet and Clank so now im interested.

I had the original game, and it was very, very enjoyable.
I didn't get the 2nd one, though... and currently have no plans to get the 3rd... for no other reason than there were and are other games I wanted more.

Oh it is, in that it's not free-roaming. You're stuck to a set path.
Sounds crappy, but it's quite entertaining and worth a bargain-bin look.

I might get the first one as it's probably dead cheap now. After completing the lastest R&C game I want to try a different type of platformer and seeing as this is from the makers of R&C I might aswell try it.

I had the first game - it was ok, but one of those side-on linear railed games, like Klonoa and Pandemonium.
Rather easy too.
