Now I like physics; I ENJOY physics, as perverse as that may seem to some of you. But what I've done so far this school year, has made me now question whether or not I actually want to finish this course.
Basically, my problem is that it isn't physics. So far this year, we've done about 40% of what I would call actual physics, about 30% electronics, and about 30% computer science. If I wanted to do electronics and computer science (Which I did, but then, that's another rant entirely), I'd have done those. I don't want to sit around in my nice AS class, relearning stuff I've either learnt during GCSE Electronics or I know just because I've been using computers since I was 6. The fact that there are at least 4 of us who sit in the lessons on this stuff staring blankly into space, answering questions when asked without thinking and correcting him when he makes blatent mistakes doesn't seem to concern him. We're running quite slowly through the course, after being given almost no time to do our coursework, minly because the teacher doesn't understand half of what he's trying to teach.
I get to skip Maths lessons this year, because I'll have already done it in further maths (See, I am a geek, it's not just a cover) and there's no point in me, and the others who will be doing the same, retaking stuff we've already taken the exam for. Why we can't do this in Physics is beyond me.
Anyway, Rant over, back to work...

My Biology prelim was 80%
I only got 79%
I was gutted. Still got an A in the final exam though.
DME = D
General = C
How much effort did I put in? Sod all.
How much revision did I do? Sod all.
mock exams this year
DME = A*
General = A
How much effort did I put in? Sod all.
How much revision did I do? Sod all.
I got 22% in my Maths Higher Mock though. :D
70/75, same thing.
Some subjects for my prelims were 75%
I got an A so neh
Usually it is 70%
It was crap
I got 30% in the Prelim
Then I got an A (over 75%)
HELL YEAH
*grunts*
