Well No:
I recently read an actical in the Daily Mail (I can hear you all clicking BACK!). Its too long to copy but the gist of it was that black boys at secondary school are failing in tests and in lessons because they have no possitive role model. They have people like So Solid Crew who have 3 of there members (or more i cant remember) on trail or have been of trial for gun crime. The children are tought that books are for nerds and that if you shoot a few people you will have 2-5 nearly naked woman by your side. It never was like that though. Martin Luther King was an PERFECT role model, stading up for his rights and not quitting till he got what he wanted.

Everything but the last lines was from the Daily Mail.

Most articals from the DM are complete crap but they have had the odd good one...

When they do a nice big essay type thing where they can't put in an opinion then they can provide a pretty good read...

I remember a nice little double page spread all about the prospects of space exploration, it was rather interesting, well written and probably one of the best articals I have read in a newspaper...

btw

Whilst Martin Luther King is, unarguably, a good example of a role model, I don't remember being told anything about him during my time at school, and I doubt it's much different now. I knew about him because of that great education system in this country called....wait for it.....the Discovery Channel. Sad isn't it ? Come to think of it he got assasinated before he got what he wanted as well, in fact you could argue that society still hasn't totally changed to his ideals even now.

Even so, I think all this "kids need rolemodels" thing is crap. I never really had a rolemodel - hated sports, never that bothered about music when I was a kid either - heck my role models were the characters from shows like Babylon 5. Londo Mollari was one favourite - sadly I did not grow up to a womanising, drunken diplomat. Strange that. My favourite characters right now are the goddesses from the anime Ah My Goddess, though again I think my chances of becoming like them are somewhat limited lol.

Only the Daily Mail would be idiotic enough to blame So Solid Crew for all the world's problems. (Although it's funny how test scores are the only thing that asylum seekers aren't responsible for.) So Solid Crew are culpable of making terrible garage music, but that's it.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.

Nothing but admiration. I have been complimented on the church site that I manage through you and everybody thinks I am an IT genius. Your support is unquestionably outstanding.
