Nicholas Cage plays Jack Cambell in his new film, The Family Man. It is about a wall street broker who has everything he wants,money,power,and women. Later during his day, he finds out that his ex grilfriend called on Christmas Eve. Who a couple years later he just was about to marry, but he decided to take a different road which resulted in his financial success. But he feels that he shouldn't call her, because he wants to pout the past behind him.
On Christmas day Jack finds himself in the position of a glimpse. He is now expierienced what it would be like if if chose to stay with his former girlfriend. Finding himself in a world where he can longer be with his possessions. He can no longer afford anything he desires. Only now will he realize what could have been. He also realizes that he is happy just be in love with his wife, and have two children to call his own.
This movie had a very good point. It shows that there are more important things in life than possessions and wealth. It is finding yourself, and what really makes you happy, and the true things that will give you a smile every morning. Also it explains that how much you love your life of luxury. If you are given a chance to live the opposite, you will never truely know what you missed out on, or what could have been the best decision you should have made. That's why I treasured this movie as one of the years bests. If you are in a good mood, and you want a warm treat for the holidays. My opinion is to see thise new film. It is worth a shot. If you are a movie buff, you won't be dissapointed.
