Im really interested in getting a DVD player. Ive been searching around, and most places seem to say that you should go for a good brand player. Since i dont know that much about dvd players, i was wondering which ones are the good brands? Obviously Sony and the like are the most reputable, but are there other players worth looking at?

The Yelo 800 is apparently a good little DVD player, nice and cheap as well.

It's Multi Region as well which is always nice. It gives you the ability to import porn from anywhere in the world, that's gotta be useful.

We got a cheap player. Damn thing had trouble playing most of our DVDs. Returned it and got a Sony. Never had a problem since. There's a lesson to be learnt here...

I'd highly recommend this one.

I might get it myself.

Yeah I have this one. So far it hasnt let me down. Plays any region and RCE encoded discs. No code needed as its auto sensing. Plays VCDs, SVCDs, MP3 discs and a bunch of other stuff. Lots of options to change Picture settings etc, built in 5.1 decoder so you only need a the speakers. Pretty good player if you want a multi-region player. Probably best to go with a nice Sony player at £200+ if you only want a region 2 player.
