"Billy Elliot"

I've just watched Billy Elliot, and I have to say I thought it was awful.
The great comedy actress who played the ballet teacher (forgotten her name.. Julie somebody I think) was wasted in the role and the script dragged along.
The ending was very poor too. not only do they bring us "up to date" on Billy (the main film set in the 80s), thus not leaving us with anything to think about or ask ourselves - what happend next? bt they also choose the actor most unlike the young Billy Elliot to play the present day one.
I wasted a good 2 hours of my life watching that film, and I want them back. Now.

They sooooooo look alike...but I was drunk....i blame the beeeeeer

I thought Billy Elliot was a good film, but I've seen a lot more better movies... I 'liked' the scene where he went mad with the dancing like DW said, it was funny & pretty good !!

He doesn't look nothing like him. :)

Did you see him trying to fight with the air, only to lose? When his dad told him he wasn't allowed to ballet, he ran out of the room punching and kicking. :c\

It's a film about a 12 year old in a leotard doing ballet. What did you expect?
