Hello there, haven't been on this forum for a while and I've had a long break from web design, but soon I'll be able to get my domain, so I've got a problem.

This page:-

http://www.geocities.com/reviews_central/review_page.html

Ignore the content of the page. The horizontal rule at the top isn't aligned with the navigation, is this something to do with the table border? Or is it something else?

If there isn't a way to do it without changing the rest of the page I think I'll just get rid of it.

Thanks in advance

The NavBar looks fine in Netscape when I view it :).

You're very defensive about your nav bar aren't you :-D Every time I mention it you either go offline or start swearing about non-IE browsers :-D

I really think that you should sort out your nav bar script as it doesn't work at all in NS (the command to control features of a div,td etc don't need a .style declaration, it\s just straight this.bgColor="" in NS ((although it might not supoort 'this' either, not sure BAAAH too many brackets)).

Why not do another browser detection script (seeing as you love them so much ;-D) to detect NS (and any other browsers) and link to a different page (maybe) where the navbar doesn't need a JS script to work. Alternatively you could just use some CSS :hover's to control it, it wouldn't be viewable in NS but the links would still work, which they don't do at the moment.

Nah, I hate images, beyond anything in the entire universe. Plus I love scripts :-)

And happy new year to you too, thanks for all the help!

Why not reverse it so it checks if the Browser is Internet Explorer, instead of the others??

That way, it'll put the coloured line for IE users, and nothing for any other type of browser, so you won't miss any out.
