Now, firstly, I know we had one of these recently...BUT...nobodu collected up the results, and it wasn't really a proper vote. Some of these are stolen from The Mayhem (That's a lie...they all are stolen from The Mayhem), and the final one you may recognize as WWE.com's official poll. Anyway, you have until 7pm on Saturday January 4th to vote. Only one vote per person, and to make the final percentages fair, please vote in every catagory. This is the real end of 2002 for WWE.

(HARD choice. The WWE has got in some great talent this year and they will make the future of the WWE a success. I didnt pick Brock because I dont consider him, and definitely not Rey Mysterio, a rookie. Ill go with John Cena because hes pretty funny and he can work in the ring. However let it be known that theres not one person in that list that I dont think is deserving to be in the WWE. They have all been impressive.)

(I would have hoped it would be the nWo. Unfortunately that angle got killed off in a big way. Billy, Chuck and Rico however have been entertaining throughout the year. Its too bad Chuck and Billy couldnt have stayed as a tag team after the breakup with Rico.)

(A person I didnt expect to see in the WWE. What a surprise. Erics a great entertainer and plays a great heel role.)

(Im probably one of the few people that actually thought the whole alliance thing was great. I know a lot of people thought it was done horridly but I liked it and that was the scene that started it all.)

Kurt Angle – no explanation really necessary, but…no one’s been better than Kurt this year, and you haven’t seen a bad report for three years, since he debuted. Even made Cena look like the best in the biz.

TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR
Goldust and Booker T – Goldust deserved a push, and his segments have been hilarious

FINISHER OF THE YEAR
Five Star Frog Splash - RVD – No one’s kicked out of it, and I prefer it to the F5 overall.


ANNOUNCER OF THE YEAR
Tazz – finally, someone’s been listening to Joey Styles. He’s got all the relevant information, actually knows the names of the moves (Cole, JR and King take note), and makes amusing comments as well.

MATCH OF THE YEAR
Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H (Summerslam) – became a total mark throughout this one. I watched it live, so I had no idea what was going to happen. Was amazed at Shawn’s effort and ability in his first match back.

PPV OF THE YEAR
Summerslam – not a really good PPV necessarily, but it had the above match to brighten it up.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Rey Mysterio – as said before, not at all a rookie, but by far the most entertaining entity on SmackDown! For me, a bit of Lucha Libre was just what WWE needed to brighten up the Cruiserweight division after the loss of Essa Rios.

CATCHPHRASE OF THE YEAR
"Your three minutes are up!" by Eric Bischoff – used well enough, brought in the Island Boyz, but beating up Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka was just wrong.

STABLE OF THE YEAR
Stables have become a thing of the past…not a single one really grabbed my attention. Stables should resemble the classics DX, or the Nation of Domination.

MOMENT OF THE YEAR
Brock Lesnar becomes the youngest WWE Champion – only because I’m a Brock fan. Bad year for eye-grabbing moments. In fact, I doubt that this could even be considered a proper moment, but they were thin on the ground, and I didn’t enjoy any of the others. The Brand Extension could be given a ‘Worst of the Year’ award, though.

GREATEST RAW MOMENT
Chris Jericho "defeats" HHH for the WWE World Title, but the decision gets reversed – loved the way the rules were brought into question, and how Jericho seemed to have beaten Trips, but he didn’t. Hated the later match, though, with him and the Acolytes vs. Trips and some tag team, because Jericho needed the win to prove it wasn’t a fluke. Never mind.

The only award so far with at least one vote in each contender is the 'Catchphrase of the Year' section. :cD
