Well some might say it would have been better if it had been a pool win, but certainly for chelsea this was a much better result. It kept Liverpool who were likely to be the greatest threat to a top 3 finish for Man Utd and Chelsea, at bay whilst making litle difference to the chase for first place. I guarentee you wenger feels like he has lost. When chasing the difference between 4 and 5 points is negligible (as chelsea and arsenal have very similar gd) (its worse for man utd). its still a loss and a draw either way, that is the minimal way of achieving catching up a 4 point deficit and its the same for 5 points. This game was serious damage limitation. Chelsea fans should be very pleased with that as it makes us so much stronger in the top 3 and we have lost little in terms of gaining on arsenal when it could have been so much worse!
