i saw a news item on the gamplay page on open (sky digital) and they said GC was to be delayed untill 2002 beacause ....and get this...its to difficult to program for
Mate. This is a load of bull. Since the news of difficult coding has died down (except for the PS2). Then let it rest.
Since NONE of the developers have really started to code with the new kits, any RUMORS that say the X-Box or the Gamecube are difficult to code for are crap.

They also seem to be behind the times.
Trust me, the rumour is quite false. As is the one you should be hearing in about a few weeks about Nintendo taking over Sega.

i did have my facts right...they even repeated it last night on the respected and unbiased Game over on sattelite tv. so pal in all seriousness, before you go insulting me get your facts right
Microsoft are selling it basically as something that many developers are used to coding with, Direct X. So if you know that, then it should be easy.

By the way gents word is X-Box is also not as user friendly as microsoft have made out...Nintendo have got it right design a user friendly system with the right tools and the games will follow....

This was announced about a month ago mind, since then, more Dev kits have gone out, and more reports have come in saying how damn easy it is to program, while more and more developers are slowly losing faith in the PS2.
I suppose the morale of the story is, get your facts right.
