I don't think so.
You break away, and they don't normally catch up, unless you're not doing too well, and keep falling, or something like that.
Maybe they do cheat, but I'm just too good to notice... maybe not.

But the courses later get really clutted which makes it damn near impossible to pull any decent tricks.
The computer players also cheat more then on Mario Kart, and I hate the way the game is set out, having three heats on each course.
I always win the first two and come 4th or below in the 3rd one, which is the only one that counts!
Also excellent stuff, surprisingly enough.
