We spent hours looking for her, tapping her food bowl constantly. When she didn't turn up despite the offering of food, we were worried.
In the end we gave up, and my Dad went up to the loft to get a few extra Christmas decorations down. He opened it, climbed the ladder and popped his head up. Greeting him was a terrified cat who doesn't really like him anyway, so instead of letting him bring her down she ran off.
We put some food at the bottom of the ladder, and I watched intensely as she tried to work out how to climb down. She timidly made her way onto the top step, and all she had to do was repeat the process. Instead, she put her front feet too far forward, and completely missed the next one.
She ended up bouncing off the side of the ladder, before landing gracefully on the floor and begun eating the tuna before I could get to it.

Our old cat died at the age of 19...which is pretty damn old, so I guess we were lucky with her too. She was trapped in a shed for a couple of days, apparently.
Monkey Man. Obviously.
