i was going to trade some old xbox/gamecube games in for labrador and friends but i dont know if i should or not.

Call me sad, but I have grown so attached to them. But I know what you mean though, the stuff you do is repetitive, but then it's just so fascinating.
The game is basically a glorified tamagotchi, so be warned.
