I have an old Pentium 3 (slot 1) cooler, it is a 4cm fan and i want to attach it to the northbridge of my motherboard but there is no way to screw it in and i was wondering how i could glue it on or if that would be possible

try screwing the fan to it as the fins should grip the fan.

yes i forgot to say that - i want to glue it to the heatsink, its an athlon in a micro case and the northbridge is really close to the cpu so i'm guessing it could do with a fan and since i have one spare......

Buy some Arctic silver thermal epoxy, it is about £10 and is brilliant for sticking sinks and fans to stuff, not 100% sure if it will hold though.

Hm. Possibly cocktail sticks and glue. Does your northbridge have a heatsink?
