Good evening, and welcome to SRW Spun Out, where we've just witnessed a brilliant HardCAW Title match between Scotty Dogg (Figo) and Hawk (AJ), with Scotty Dogg turning out as the winner after a Crazysault off the top of the Ladder. And now we've hopefully got another cracker coming at you, in the form of a 30 minute Iron Man Table Match for the Cruiserweight Title, with Christian (Grandprix) defending his title to The Hurricane (RM19).

Christian won against The Hurricane last night in a Hardcore rules match at the end of last night's Eclipse, and we've got some highlights from the end of that match:

*****Christian (Grandprix) is sensing victory, and he quickly reshapes the trash can and places it over Hurricane (RM18)! Hurricane is staggering around the ring, unable to see anything! Christian (Grandprix) laughs mockingly, before getting back to business. He turns him around, and grabs him around the neck, and then sticks his knee out, ready for his trademark Neckbreaker! CRACK!!! HE BRINGS HIM DOWN, AND HURRICANE (RM18) FEELS THE FULL FORCE OF THE TRASH CAN AND THE NECKBREAKER!

Pin by Christian (Grandprix), ONE!

TWO!

AND THR TRASH CAN - sorry, I mean Hurricane (RM18) - KICKS OUT! Christian (Grandprix) is getting frustrated again and he takes the trash can off, and tries to set him up for an Impaler (that’s what I call it anyway)…but Hurricane (RM18) fights out of it, and into the EYE OF THE HURRICANE!

NO! Christian (Grandprix) counters, into an IMPALER ON THE TRASH CAN - WHAM! THE IMPACT ECHOED ALL THROUGH THE ARENA! Christian (Grandprix) falls into a cover;

ONE!

TWO!

THREE! Shock victory from the challenger! Christian (Grandprix) slowly gets to his feet and talks dirtily to the fallen Hurricane (RM18), before stomping on him a few times and leaving him in a crumpled mess! Christian (Grandprix) annoys the fans on the entrance ramp, and then stops, before turning back and heading to the ring!

He picks up the table he found much earlier on, and sets it up in the corner, before picking up the near-unconscious Cruiserweight Champion and taking him to the opposite corner. He then stands behind him, grabs him by the back of the head and runs forward, RAMMING THE HURRICANE (RM18)’S HEAD INTO THE TABLE! THAT’S JUST TOO MUCH!

The crowd are furious, Hurricane (RM18) is bleeding from the head thanks to what Christian (Grandprix) did to him after the match! Christian (Grandprix) may have won this hardcore encounter, but can Christian (Grandprix) win it without weapons? Hurricane (RM18) is gonna want payback at Spun Out, so make sure you check out what happens when these two collide for the SRW Cruiserweight Championship.*****

Well, that was what happened last night, certainly stirring up the rivalry between these two - what state will Hurricane be in for this match, and will Christian still be in as cocky and angry a mood as he was last night? Well, we're about to find out, because here come the two competitors...

"CHRISTIAAAN! CHRISTIAAAN! AT LAST, YOU'RE ON YOUR OOOOOOOWN!" - here comes the man who last night beat the Cruiserweight Champion in a Hardcore rules match. Christian (Grandprix) struts out onto the stage, to a massive selection of boos. Let's just say he's not exactly the most popular man going to be fighting at Spun Out this week. He walks past all the tables at ringside, and there are plenty of them. We'll be having 30 minutes of table-smashing action here, and Christian is looking ready for it - he's sliding 2 tables into the ring, just as his music finishes.

"STAND BACK! THERE'S A HURRICANE COMIN' THROUGH!" - Here comes the Cruiserweight Champion, complete with a taped up arm and a huge plaster on his forehead. It looks as if Christian has given himself an advantage going into this match - there's no way that The Hurricane (RM19) is 100% fit. He walks down the ramp, still managing to show off some of his Hurri-style. Hurricane walks past the mass of tables on the outside of the ring, and climbs up into the ring, where there are now 3 tables, courtesy of Christian - 1 set up normally, one flat on the ground and one in the corner. Hurricane gives his title to the ref, and awaits the start of the match with Christian. The bell rings, the timer starts and the match is underway.

30 MINS TO GO
0 - 0

Christian raises his arms, to a furious reaction from the crowd - him taunting in The Hurricane's face, but Hurricane (RM19) reacts, shoving Christian to the ground, and begins stomping on him! The Hurricane is trying to pick up Christian, but his arm is causing him problems. We didn't know that there were any problems with his arm, and it didn't look like he injured it on Eclipse, but it turns out that he must've. Hurricane stomps on Christian (Grandprix) some more. He attempts to pick him up with one hand, and does so, but takes quite a while. he throws Christian off the ropes, but as Christian returns, Hurricane is knocked down with a Clothesline!

Christian can now take this chance to dominate the match, and he does, delivering a few kicks, punches and knees to the head of Hurricane, who is now looking slightly dazed. Christian is picking up the table that was lying on the ground, while The Hurricane (RM19) is trying to get to his feet. Christian (Grandprix) is waiting, ready to pounce on Hurricane, with the table he is holding. Hurricane is now back to his feet completely, and Christian runs at him, but Hurricane uses his Hurri-sense (or quick reaction, to normal people), and delivers a Drop Toe Hold to Christian, whose head smacks off the table! Hurricane quickly picks up Christian, runs while holding his head, AND SMASHES HIM THROUGH THE TABLE IN THE OPPOSITE CORNER! CRACK! Hurricane gets a point, after slamming Christian through that table!

25 MINS TO GO:
CHRISTIAN (GRANDPRIX) 0 - 1 THE HURRICANE (RM19)

Hurricane takes control of the match after the restart, kicking away at Christian (Grandprix) while he's on the ground. Hurricane sets up another table, this time in the middle of the ring. He picks up Christian, and throws him off the ropes - he's looking to hit Christian with a Big Back Body Drop, but Christian kicks him in the face, and The Hurricane (RM19) falls backwards onto the table. Christian punches him in the face a few times, before heading towards the top rope. What's he going to do here? Christian leaps off the top rope, BUT HURRICANE GETS OUT OF THE WAY, AND CHRISTIAN CHRASHES THROUGH THE WOOD! But it won't count as a point for Hurricane, because you have to actually be slammed through the table BY your opponent.

Christian lies amongst the broken tables, as Hurricane heads to the top rope. He taunts Christian from the top, as Christian begins to make his way to his feet. The Hurricane stands up just as Christian is back on his feet, and jumps, DELIVERING A CROSSBODY TO CHRISTIAN! The injured Hurricane (RM19) is doing a lot of damage to Christian (Grandprix) today, and he is now looking to inflict some more, by taking the other table and placing it in the centre of the ring. The Hurricane picks up Christian, and seems to want to put him through the table somehow or other. He grabs him by the neck! Not the Chokeslam!?! He lifts up Christian, AND DELIVERS A CHOKESLAM THROUGH THE TABLE! Hurricane goes 2 - 0 up on Christian, and this match is becoming a little one-sided.

20 MINS TO GO:
CHRISTIAN (GRANDPRIX) 0 - 2 THE HURRICANE (RM19)

Christian is looking completely destroyed on the mat, while Hurricane is showing off his super powers to the crowd on the top rope. And we're underway again, as Hurricane picks up Christian. He scoops him up in the air, and lands him right back where he started, which was pretty pointless, but looked pretty good - Hurricane becoming quite cocky now. EYE OF THE HURRICANE! That just came out of nowhere! I think that strange scooping movement was just some sort of fancy set up to the Eye Of The Hurricane, but who knows. Hurricane heads to the outside of the ring, and picks up a table. He throws it into the ring, and heads back out of the ring to pick up another one. Hurricane (RM19) picks up this other table, but his arm is causing him some problems - he can't pick it up too well, and drops it, having to pick it up again. This gives Christian (Grandprix) some time in the ring, and after some time, as Hurricane is walking to wards the ring with the table, Christian, runs at him, AND HITS A BASEBALL SLIDE ON THE TABLE WHICH CRACKED OFF HURRICANE'S HEAD! Hurricane flies backwards up the ramp with the impact, and lands in a crumpled heap.

Christian jumps outside of the ring, and takes that table, before throwing it back into the ring. He goes over to The Hurricane (RM19), and picks him up, not forgetting to do some more damage to the injured arm. Christian throws Hurricane back into the ring, and celebrates to the crowd (who aren't too pleased), before climbing in himself. Christian (Grandprix) sets up one of the two tables, before picking up the other one. Oh no! CRACK! ... CRACK! ... CRACK! ... He just slammed the table onto The Hurricane three times, trying to do as much damage to Hurricane's arm and head as possible. He picks up Hurricane, and places him on the table. Christian is heading to the top rope, and signalling for an Elbow Drop. He jumps, SMASHING THROUGH HURRICANE AND THROUGH THE TABLE WITH AN ELBOW DROP!!! Christian has pulled one back on Hurricane.

15 MINS TO GO:
CHRISTIAN (GRANDPRIX) 1 - 2 THE HURRICANE (RM19)

That high-impact move took the wind out of Christian, and he is having trouble getting to his feet, but at least he's not flat out on the ground unable to move like Hurricane (RM19) is. Christian uses the ropes to help himself to his feet. He gets to his feet, and begins to walk around, talking tactics to himself. He sets up another table, and begins to pick up Hurricane. Hurricane counters with a Low Blow though, and takes Christian down with a chop to the back of the leg. He now stomps on Christian (Grandprix) a few times, before putting the set-up table in the corner.

The Hurricane (RM19) is wanting to catapult Christian onto the table in the corner - he sets him up, and catapults him, BUT THE TABLE DOESN'T BREAK! Christian just bounced off the table, and The Hurricane is looking distraught - that would almost certainly have sealed the match for him, unless Christian went on a mad streak, which he isn't likely to do - both men are looking weak after just over half of the fighting time. Hurricane picks up Christian again, but Christian (Grandprix) gives him a thumb to the eye, and then plants him with a Suplex! He picks Hurricane up though, and puts him on the table, before climbing onto the table himself. What's Christian doing here? He picks up Hurricane on the table, and oh dear god! He's setting Hurricane up for the Unprettier!!! NO NO NO NO..... SMASH! UNPRETTIER THROUGH THE TABLE!!! HE'S GOT TO BE OUT COLD! Christian scores another point over The Hurricane, and in a destructive manner. Hurricane is knocked out.

10 MINS TO GO:
CHRISTIAN (GRANDPRIX) 2 - 2 THE HURRICANE (RM19)

Christian (Grandprix) has pulled himself level with Hurricane (RM19), and will now be looking to take the lead. He dances around the ring in celebration, knowing that Hurricane won't be getting up any time in the near future. After a while, and after the fans have lost the will to boo him, he picks up Hurricane, and throws him into the corner. Hurricane slouches in the corner, as he is kicked in by Christian, who is taking this match slowly, so he doesn't make any mistakes. He moves out of the corner, BEFORE SPRINTING RIGHT BACK IN AT FULL SPEED AND SPEARING HURRICANE! Ouch, is all that can be said, really.

Christian won't stop though, and delivers an Irish Whip to The Hurricane, but Hurricane (RM19) doesn't return to him, and instead, just sinks to the mat in the middle of the ring. This has probably been the hardest match of his career - possibly that for Christian too, although him and Edge went through some great matches. Christian (Grandprix) pikcs up Hurricane again, and throws him to the ground in an Arm Drag. Christian heads outside the ring to get another table in.

5 MINS TO GO:
CHRISTIAN (GRANDPRIX) 2 - 2 THE HURRICANE (RM19)

Christian folds up one of the remaining tables, and slides back into the ring with it. He sets it up, before heading towards Hurricane, who is showing a great amount of strength and bravery, trying to get to his feet. Christian (Grandprix) grabs him by the head, and knees him in the gut a few times though, and Hurricane (RM19) falls to the ground again. Christian stomps on him, before trying to pick him up, BUT HURRICANE KNOCKS HIM TO THE GROUND! Hurricane is fighting back, with punch after punch, and kick after kick. Christian runs at him, AND HURRICANE DELIVERS A POWERSLAM THROUGH THE TABLE!!! Hurricane is back in the lead!

Hurricane quickly jumps to the outside - he seems to have regained a lot of Hurri-strength, as he picks up one of the last tables, and climbs into the ring with it. Hurricane sets it up, and then picks up Christian (Grandprix) by the hair. He delivers a swift kick right into Christian's ribs, before heading up to the top rope. Christian is getting to his feet, again, AND HE KNOCKS THE REFEREE TO HIS FEET! Why did Christian do that??? BUT WAIT! HERE COMES HURRICANE, FLYING THROUGH THE AIR!!! CHRISTIAN DODGES HIM, AND HE GOES FLYING THROUGH THE TABLE!!!!! Hurricane crashes right through the table to the mat, just as the referee is getting back to his feet. 10 seconds to go! Christian is trying to tell the referee that he put Hurricane through the table. 5 seconds to go! AND THE REFEREE GIVES IN! 3 - 3 WITH A COUPLE OF SECONDS TO GO! DING DING DING! The bell rings, and the match, unfairly, has ended in a draw.

MATCH FINISHED:
CHRISTIAN (GRANDPRIX) 3 - 3 THE HURRICANE (RM19)

The referee has ordered the match to continue, until someone is put through a table. Christian has gone outside the ring to get a chair, and he slides back into the ring with it. He stands over Hurricane (RM19). CRACK! SMACK! CRACK! SMACK! He hits Hurricane with that chair multiple times, completely destroying him! He heads outside the ring, and picks up the last table, before throwing it into the ring so that it lands on top of Hurricane. The crowd are furious! He slides in cooly, and sets up the table in the centre of the ring, before picking up The Hurricane, AND SCOOP SLAMMING HIM THROUGH THE TABLE!!! THIS ONE IS OVER, AND CHRISTIAN IS THE NEW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION!

Christian (Grandprix) grabs his title, and escapes up the ramp, to a mass of booing and jeering - he's destroyed Hurricane tonight using his own stealthy, cunning and evil tactics, and if it weren't for him knocking down the ref, then this match would've been The Hurricane's.

WINNER, AND NEW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION:
CHRISTIAN (GRANDPRIX)

Thanks for reading,
Enjoy the rest of Spun Out,
~AJ~

Tremendous match AJ, really entertaining, despite the loss. Still, I've had a good run. The Ironman concept is really difficult to translate to words, but that was a very entertaining effort. Top stuff.

I liked the way you added big intervals telling us the time and score, a nice little tensoin builder if you ask me, very good stuff.

Great match too, smashy, smashy, smashy is Starlights official review of it.

This PPV hasn't really gone the way I predicted. Nonetheless, a brillianté (heh) match with lots of wood. New Champion should create a new angle here. What happened with the score keeping? It kinda went wrong when it got to 2-3 I think. Hmm. :cD

Well done Mr. AJ, Grandprix and unlucky Russ.

Table smashing at it's very best. I could see the all of them with clarity. (Does that sound deranged?) Oh well, never mind. CHRISTIAN WON, even if it was slightly underhanded!

It's another Iron Man classic from AJ! :D

Brilliant stuff, kept me entertained throughout with some nice touches ("ouch, is all that can be said, really,") some great in-ring and outside action, and some innovative table-smashing ways, my personal favourite being:

"He's setting Hurricane up for the Unprettier!!! NO NO NO NO..... SMASH! UNPRETTIER THROUGH THE TABLE!!! HE'S GOT TO BE OUT COLD!"

Love it. :D

Congrats to Grandprix as Christian, the NEW SRW Cruiserweight Champion.
