Arsenal to buy English player.

Arsenal are apparently ready to buy Danny Mills for £6m in January.

I'll believe it when I see it :-)

Yeah they wanna make it so that teams have to field at least 50% home grown players so if you include substitutes they have to have 8 british or whatever players on their side in the match

WHat about Chelsea?

We can't be having that! The "Dirty Leeds" tag will evaporate before we know it!

Saw an Interesting piece in the newspaper today (daily mirror) bout premiership teams.

Fulham have actually used to highest percentage of foreigners in thier games this season(i think the figure was around 86%). Even Man City (76%) use more foriengers than Arsenal(70%). Liverpool are the same as Arsenal (70%) While Man utd used around 52%

West Brom use the least amount with thier figure around 40% Which is low in comparison, but still pretty high considering...

I hope that arsenal don't make a move for bowyer, anyway bowyer just hurt his sellability with the game against malaga.
I can't see many of the big clubs going after him with his reputation.

I'm pretty sure that they wont pay £6 million for a player of Mills' standard but they may make a move for Lee Bowyer at a knock down price so Leeds wont see him leave on a Bosman in the summer.

Another aggresive player who will definatley get sent of. Why mills? Arsenal are one of the best teams in europe, Thuram, Puyol or salgado are more of a match

I think they'll avoid relegation. My tip for teams going down:

West Ham
West Brom
Sunderland

Have you noticed how hard it is to come back up when you've been relegated? Look at Derby! And they've just sold Deon Burton to Portsmouth. Redknapp will be laughing if he takes Portsmouth up (which is looking like more and more of a certainty) and the Hammers go down!

Leeds loked like they were going to become a top 3 team, but they are going way down hill.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are relegated next season.
