Every once in a while, about once a week my disk tray jams when I try to open it. No big problem but has anyone had this and did it develop into something evil?

Also are there any known ways to fix this before it turns into the plague of consoles?

Ti's but updated. So it's just as good as the rest, that thing is just something that was blown out of proportion.

I had it when switching it on recently; just power off, and when you power on again the tray just resumes operation.

And it's not a thompson drive is it?

I got a message with Deus Ex yesterday. Sometimes the drive just fails to read, I just move the CD a quarter of a turn to fix things.

My GC only ever got an error when I completed RE4 for the first time playing around 30 hours straight. I probably could of done it in 15 - 20 but exhaustion didn't help.

Ah well as long as it doesn't happen when Gamestation test it I don't mind. (For when I trade it in)

I get it all the time. I also find that it tends to take a couple of boots to get Farcry Instincts working and every now and then it refuses to read disks saying I need a DVD kit.
