Why is there no Die Hard Trilogy box set available anywhere?

I know there's a box set of 1 & 2, but why not all three?!

I'll be making good old fashioned action films one day

Of course, by that time, Matrix style action will probably be "old fashioned"

What am I to do?

Damn shame, last I heard on Die Hard film (a while ago mind) was that it'd see Willis on board an airplane which gets shot down by terrorists who want to get someone on board. The film basically saw McLain lead the saviours from the wreck while fighting off the bad guys.

It would of been great; the action genre could just do with another Die Hard film considering the amount of turgid action that are out now (step forward xXx.)

Yeah, he's absolutely right. They can't legally make a trilogy box set here

Doesn't bother me, though, I won Die Hard 1 + 2, then bought #3 myself, so I have all three

And did you know that Speed was originally meant to be a Die Hard film? Think about it, it's very Die Hard like. But it was later changed to be an original film, I can't remember why

I think it's due to different distributors in the UK.
In the US 20th century fox owns the lot henceforth was able to issue a box set of all three. I think the UK rights of the third film are owned by Buena Vista so only they can release the third film on any medium.
Its confusing and silly but there you go!
