"Why I'm still awake"

I'm being dead serious here.

I'm still awake posting here for the first time because of my contact lenses. I put them on for the first time unaided this morning and now can;t take my left one off. I'm now wearing my glasses with one lense popped out so I can see properly. If anyone online now knows how to take lenses off/wears lenses please pass on any tricks on taking them off or add me on MSN at [email protected]

This is why glasses rule.

Don't give up just yet. Your eye will become accustomed to having them in, and after a short while your top lid won't go apesh1t every time you try and take one out.

As long as you can see okay out of them, persevere. You can't possibly have more grief with them than I had. I was ready to get a knife and cut my lens out at one point.

methinks I've given up on them after last night.....

My friend had them in for two days once when we went on a pub crawl... he couldn't see after a while and was screaming " arrrggh it's burrrning ".

I'd expect the same sort of thing would have happened to me though. :0) I think you've got to look down, move the lense away from your pupil/iris onto the white, and then pinch it to take it off, but not sure. But it doesn't matter now anyway. :0)
