Hopefully, Villa can beat Liverpool to go into the Semi-finals. I was pleased to see that we thrashed Preston 5-0 with some good goals. Villa have now scored 11 goals in 3 games, in the Worthington.

At the start of the season, we were struugling to score goals.

Predictions:

Blackburn
Villa
Sheffield United
Chelsea

Mystic Meg predicted that Sheffield United will win the Worthless Cup this season. Let's see...

the only team i didint want in the draw was Blackburn

Liverpool : Good game, probably beat them on aggregate

Sheffield Utd : A win, easily. Probably a thrashin

I got all the right winners! :D
Just got the scores wrong though, that's all.

I somehow knew we'd get drawn-against Blackburn in the semi's as soon as I heard Andy Cole had scored his second of the match and Diego Forlan scored what proved-to-be the winner at Old Trafford.
Meeting Liverpool - the only-other `real-contenders` left - before the final just doesn't sound right... And neither does meeting Sheffield United or Blackburn there either - even if they did win it last season.

I think it'd be pretty safe to say that United and Liverpool will meet in the final now, but I reckon Blackburn will give us a tough ride at Ewood Park, while Liverpool should be able to hold-off the Sheff. Utd easily if they can get some more consistency back in their performances, and confidence within their players.

I'm an Aston Villa fan so im hopeing that we can beat the out of form Liverpool and go through but i think it'll be close.
