Not long to wait now Terminator fans (well actually it is quite a long time, but never mind).

Terminator3.com has shown off the groovy all-new T3: Rise of the Machines theatrical banner to be displayed in cinemas in the US later this month.

Terminator was pure style. T2 was style and action. T3 will be all action.

I'd feel a LOT better about it if Cameron was writing/directing, and the script hadn't been done by the drunken fools responsible for Tank Girl (talking kangeroos? Even if they were in the comic, they shouldn't have been in the film!) but I'll still go and see it, and make up my OWN mind, regardless of reviews (I mostly ignore reviews, positive or otherwise nowadays)

It's unlikely that it will be anyway near as good as the previous films, as that's a lot to live up to.

However, as long as it's not an utter disaster, I'll be happy.

From the banner I get the impression that the "termnatrix" is going to be more like Arnie than the T1000 was. That stikes me as a peculiar move to make. Thoughts?

I read a review of the earlier script, it sounded a bit poop. Things like the new Terminatrix (what a stupid name) having supernatural like powers, being able to read peoples minds and go invisible, which just sounded awful. It was an early script though, so hopefully they would have ironed out the stupid ness I've heard about so far.

There was a part I did like the sound of though, where Skynet launches a nuke at LA and then begins building the first generation of Terminators, hence the Rise of The Machines title. I'll probably see it just because it's the 'Terminator' though that's its main selling point I suppose. I don't expect it to be as good as the last two films, I never did, but just so long as it's entertaining enough, I don't really care.

Apparently they had a tough time filming the scene where she arrives from time travel because of all the staring crowds.

You may be right, but lets hope it isn't.
(Though looking at Arnie's recent films you'd be hard pushed to be 100% confident).
