I am with eveyone else from my year at Wood Green school.
I'm down at FOCUS DIY doing a whole range of tasks like stock management; shelf stacking; customer service.
I know that a lot of you have already done yur work experience, but that doesn't stop you from sharing your stories with us.
I was helping build a one of those metal bunk beds with those desks and chairs in the bottom section for a display. But half way through It was home time so I left it to the others who were building it with me.

Never actually heard of Wallingford, must not be that popular with the tourists like Bourton-on-the-Water.

I was doing shelf stacking for most of the day and then I was on the customer services desk with a few "cheery" females.
One of the passwords for the computer was "HELLHOLE", so you can see what they think of the place.

I did mine at a local bakery. I saw how much lard went into lardy cake, and havent eaten it since. that was about 9 years ago now.
I'm just setting up my own business at the mo, and have allready been asked if id take on someone for work experience. Would be a laugh, but they wouldnt have a lot to do.

lets see, work experience, thats where you get introduced to the crushing reality of the drudgery that is what the rest of life has to offer, oh yes, I just about remember that. If only work experience was your first and last experience of work. Hey I like that last quote ....
