3DFX are no more.
The pioneers of 3D technology have been put out of business by the makers of the X-Box graphics chip----NVIDEA.
Now with no real competitors the 3D world will not be the same.
This just shows what can happen to a company when it's competitors get too strong. It is usually the best company which looses out in the long run.
I hope all the zealots who post on these boards will sit back and give every company and product an unbiased view from now on as soon we may not have much competition in both the PC market and the console market which is no good for anyone.
