Montage Film Reviews freelancer Kieren Hughes BA (Hons) has written a review of the film 'Salo; or The 120 Days of Sodom (Salo o le 120 giornate di Sodoma)' 1975 (dir. Pier Paolo Pasolini)'which is one of the most scandalous, extreme films ever made, and so here, by taking a popular essay on the film, and merging it with the historical facts of Mussolini´s reign in wartime Italy, he has set out to explain whether or not its content is justified.
