Ok i have a systems tutorial tomorrow, but the questions dont even make any sense to me. Any contribution is appreciated.
1. When the computer is first switched on, the components will be in random states, and anything could happen. How does the computer do something sensible?
2. What are the principle differences (in terms of memory and in terms of hardware) between main memory and secondary memory?
3.What are the main functions of an operating system?
4.What is the CPU cycle? What are the program counter and the instruction register for? In which part of the computer would these be found?
