I know it is good for Premiership clubs to buy young players from small, nationwide clubs, but this time is has affected me!
In January, when clubs can buy players again, it looks like Crystal Palaces two great young players, Hayden Mullins and Julian Gray will be snapped up by Premiership clubs.
Sure, it gives us money, Mullins is going for 1.5 million, but knowing our manager he will buy rubbish players and we will lose players that hold the team together. Birmingham already bought our best player, Clinton Morrison. And many clubs like Palace could do with any money they can get at the moment.
Ok, so for a premiership club it is great. They get a potential star for a usually small price from clubs who need to sell them to survive. Its a win-win situation....

Bristol Rovers have been affected by bigger clubs snapping-up their young talents quite badly. Since Jamie Cureton went to Reading, Jason Roberts went to West Brom, and Nathan Ellington went elsewhwere, Mandatare's been crying in the corner at the sight of Rovers' position at the end of last season in Div.3 and even this season too, where they sit deep-within the bottom-half of the table.
It's a bad thing for the smaller clubs to lose them, but it's gotta happen sooner or later really - like when Wigan lost Carroll to United.
The should really try and cash-in more though.
But if they were a very good club in debt, I would keep the quality players and try for promotion. That way the would keep the quality players they have and gain money from going up into the Premiership.
I mean look at Real Madrid, they are in debt and they are still buying players like Ronaldo.
