I have no idea why, but I turned on my computer when I got hope from work, to send a simple E-mail. When it loaded up, all the text on the desktop icons was tiny, and in all the windows explorer windows, and some of the buttons too:

I hope they are clear as to what is up. What I would like to know is does anybody know why this 'shrinking of text' appear, and how I might fix it (note, rebooting didn't fix it).

Oh, and another thing to add.
In a drop down menue now, instead of an arrow pointing down, I have a '6'.
In Exploer, the 'X' symbol to close the window is an 'r'.
The minimise button is a '0'.
The expand window (the one between the close and minimise) button is a '2'.
What is going on??
