I got:
Conflict: Desert Storm
The Thing
Timesplitters 2
3 packets of fags (from my cat, Smokey)
A 'Jamaica Mon' dancing hamster
I now have 36 PS2 games (one for each year), 3 dancing mechanised and bloody annoying gadgets (all from my sister, she hates me, I'm sure of it now) and one packet of fags left.
It's the first time in 36 years that any of my family have given me games for a birthday present. I think they're just a little slow on the uptake seeing as all I seem to have had for the last 22 years is have a room cluttered with consoles, gaming magazines, game boxes, SR magazine dropping through the letter box now and then, special offers from Codemasters, EIDOS and other publishers arriving weekly with my junk mail and a ZX81 (boxed, mint condition) sitting on one of the shelves in my bedroom for all to see.
Mini-reviews:
Conflict: Desert Storm - it rocks
Timesplitters 2 - it rocks but Conflict: Desert Storm is better
The Thing - twiddly control mechanism but I'm getting used to it. When I've mastered the controls I'll probably say it rocks.

LOL, AfroJoe isn't
Are there any notables who AREN'T collecting their pension?

Grandad! shouldn't that be Great Grandad! or is that just me.
Kept that quiet - unless I missed the announcement, of course! :-)
Enjoy ya games, grandad!
