Is there a way I can track if any sites are linking to my files or if people are linking them to different places accross the web?
ALl the videos are hosted on my Freeserve webspace and I was wondering if it is possible to gain stats of the downloads of each file...
Thanks...

If you're really worried bout someone leeching your stuff then you could always zip it and put a readme in there telling people where it really came from so they can report it to you...
at one point with my website i had got 100+ visitors a day then it started to die and found out another bigger site with the same theme as mine was leehing my stuff.
I have a really cool anti leech script that i was given by a friend who used to own a similar site to mine, but havn't used it yet it is very effective though. Its on my computer somewhere or could be on CD if i find i will let you know on here

When did i write that?? I don't remember writing that!! :-O
And in any event, I don't think he wanted to prevent people taking his files. He wanted to stop people linking to them, thats an entirely different matter. And really doesn't have much to do with freedom of information in my opinion.
Pretty much ditto. You can't and shouldn't censor the web.

The web is an open source document. No one should ever try and stop someone looking at the source, this is how people learn how to do things.
Don't "try and accept it", embrace it and realise that this is the great thing about the web.
