Hi all i hope you can help

I have windows ME and want to upgrade to XP but have a problem

i want to keep all my data intact when putting XP on. Will the upgrade version need to format my computer or will it keep all of my data intact

I'm hoping you will say it keeps it

i found a clean install is better tho o.O

On the xp cd it will have a program that searches through your current install of windows and tells you what is incompatible with windows xp, i suggest you do this first.

No need to format, just install XP over ME.
