Snow White: A Tale of Terror was on the other night. It was rubbish. There was also a film based upon Rumpelstiltskin, possibly called Rumplestiltskin, that was also rubbish. So if they can take fairy tales, and turn them into movies, why has no one ever considered the world of nursery rhymes as a decent source for a film or TV show?

Baa Baa Black Sheep:

A stunning tale of triumph through adversity. Baa Baa, the black sheep from a family of white sheet is something of an outcast. Told that he will never amount to anything he leaves to start a new life. Years later he returns home, having made his fortune in the wool market, with the help of a little boy that lives down the lane.

3 Blind Mice:

You may know it as a simple tale about blind mice that have their tales hacked off. But does it not leave more questions than it answers? This movie solves all of that. For the first time discover how the mice became blind, with the shocking tale of the great mouse/rat war, and we discover why the farmer's wife only cut off their tails, it was because she was a witch, and she needed them for a recipie to increase her fertility. If that's not enough the film goes on to tell the rest of the story of the mice, how they could no longer balance without tails, and their eventual fall into the seedy underworld of drugs and crime.

The Cat and the Fiddle

A shocking tale of animal fraud, animated, and starring Morph. A cat arrives at a dairy, and immediatley has an impact, catching mice and the like. Soon enough the farmer trusts the cat with more responsibility, unaware that the cat is secretly syphoning milk into a secret tanker of his own. When the cat disappears, a cow uncovers what has happened, and in shock, jumps over the moon. The little dog, who was supposed to be keeping an eye on the cat had been drugged, and just rolls around, laughing, and saying something about running cutlery.

24: Series 3

Humpty Dumpty sits innocently on his wall. CTU undercover a sinister plot to have him removed. Over the next 24 weeks, we see special agent Jack Bauer called back into active service to investigate this plot, and to ensure that Humpty Dumpty remains safely on the wall. As the weeks pass Jack gets mixed up with Little Miss Muffet, has a shoot out with Georgie Porgie, before a dramatic finale involving the Muffin Man.

Jack and Jill

Did Jack really fall? This movie tells us what really happened at the top of that hill. Jacks hands go a wandering, Jill doesn't like it, so she texts her brothe, who shows up in his Fiat Uno, with £2000 worth of stereo, and beats Jack to within an inch of his life. To cover up for this they roll him down the hill, hoping to leave him for dead. Unfortunately Jill slips too, and goes rolling down the hill, on top of Jacks beaten body. Will Jill's brother go get help for his sister, knowing that they will also find Jack, who will then have him done for GBH?

How does your garden grow?

A heart warming tale similar to Driving Miss Daisy. Mary, who is quite contrary, loves her garden, but cannot get anything to grow until she hires a gardener (Morgan Freeman). The two develop a beautiful friendship, spanning many, many years, despite very little actually ever happenning.

See? Loads of potential. No doubt all the stars would be queuing up for these parts, wouldn't they? Marlon Brando would make a great Humpty Dumpty, and who better to play Jack (of Jack and Jill fame) than Eminem? It would do his image no end of good...

We was re writing nursery rhymes in English Lang the other day. Your Jack and Jill story is scarily similar to the one I wrote.

Mine was obviously better though. :)
