I've got a stack of MP3's recorded from my albums, and I want to get them off my HD and onto DVD. But they won't fit on just one disc.
What I'm after is a utility - preferably freeware, but not necessarily - which will go through my files and create a list that will best fit each disc to its full capacity.
I could probably write one myself in Visual Basic, but I'm feeling particularly lazy and can't be bothered. So - anyone know of such a beast?

Err, hit me if im silly but can't you just keep putting mp3's on DVD till it says that there's not any space left?

You need a bin packing algorithm. I could give you one for you to adapt if you want, however you'd be wasting your time. A DVD is so large in comparison to MP3s you're wastage will be extremely small.
