I have to say that Freeola have the BEST webpace offer I have actually seen!
You can upload 21 meg at a weekend and it will cost you £2!
Its there forever then!
It's basically, £10 per 100 meg you upload and then you havn't got to worry ever again!
Most ISPs make you dial up to them AND give you a limit to stay to!
Yes, you do have to use their dial-up number to Upload files to your Web Space, but it isn't any cheap space, you get what you pay for, and then some :o).
Yes, you can get Domain a lot cheaper elsewhere, but again, you get what you pay for, as most of the cheaper domains only have forwarding to another address and for E-mail.
I would recommend Freeola to you for your Web Site, I have used them for 3 years now, and have had no real problem with them, but whenever a problem did arrise, the Customer Support was very helpful.
www.getdotted.com for the Domain Name.
www.freeola.com/about.php to sign up.
If you need anymore help, just post and most of the time someone here will be able to help, being the smartasses that we are :o)
They also have very good customer support so if you are ever in need of hrelp, just ring them!
You can just register the domain name and have it or you can pay to host it with a company so you can recieve email and have a website etc.
Pretty simple but have a good look around before you decide to host it anywhere. There are a lot of pitfalls to choosing a host ie they may only allow you to upload web-pages if you ring their specific numbers (ie Freeola) or they may not let you upload mpegs and other multimedia (ie SupaNames).
