I think simon davies and Dave Thompson are both underated, as is Lie Tie.
I also think Joe Cole and Dyer are both overated.

I will never forget the day Carragher scored not once but twice in a match against Manchester Utd - at the wrong end.

Liverpool lost 3-2 I think. Man U only scoring a single goal of their own volition, the other two corkers coming from mister carragher himself.

Can't thank him enough.

2 reasons.

1.I was trying to remain impartial

2. Eeryone knows what i think about it and so i didn't think it was really worth mentioning him!

underrated

Alexander Mostovoi
Yon FC Basle player, Hakin Yakin or whatever
Quentin Fortune , hes far better than beckham

overrated

David Beckham - he can do free kicks (but has got worse after breaking his foot) and he can cross balls in, but he doesnt even do that anymore.
Alessandro Del Piero
Alvaro Recoba - hes definetly good, but not that good. pro evo games always overrate him. he has touches of brilliance, and incredible at free kicks (the world cup 1998 springs to mind) but, i dunno in real life, i dont like him. and his teeth. eurgh. what is it with south americans and teeth?

Over rated: Beckham (he's not THAT good, and he looks for the flash pass rather than the simple one: painfully evident in the world cup).

Gerrard-ditto.

G Neville- always playing players onside when his team mates are playing the offside trap. Only ever passes to Beckham and lacks the attacking ability a fullback needs at the highest level.

Heskey- useless lump of a player. England don't need a "defensive forward" Mr Manager.

Repka- shouldn't be on the pitch (rarely stays on for long anyway)

Andy Cole- sublime and ridiculous in equal measures.

Under rated: Bridges (Leeds): has been out for a year with injury but is a player that could be our (England's) "Bergkamp".

Richard Rufus: he is the Charlton defence, quick, able and very resolute. Would be a great partner for Rio.

I'm surprised to see no mention what-so-ever of Carlton Cole there, Ashely!

Shame on you! And you call yourself a Cheslea fan...! :P

You're usually always going on about him, but why stop now??
He is definitley, in my view, one of the most-promising and under-hyped players in the Premiership today, where-as Wayne Rooney I believe is over-hyped too-much - just like Owen.
