As I was channel flicking Pop stars or whatever it is was on and the band was singing Hotel california - one of my fav songs of all time.

Why must they kick the aser out of all the old classics time and time again.

So I ask this, how long before every song in the charts is a cover?

I recon within the next 10 months it will happen.

It'll never happen. There'll always be bands like Coldplay in there. The charts suck anyway.


And I was quite disappointed with Muse's cover of the House of the Rising Sun. Their covers usually rule. Feeling Good was utterly superb, Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want was a pretty good attempt and Can't Take My Eyes Off You was great too. But with House of the Rising Sun, they cut out over half the song. It was the first verse, middle verse and end verse (which is the same as the first). What was these was good but it was way too short.

I remember those Liberty X people were singing High and Dry by Radiohead
