Answer this question:

3 People go to a restaurent they order a meal which comes up to £25:00 pounds now they give the waiter £10 pounds each which equals £30 pounds which they give to the waiter. the waiter comes back with their change.3 £1 coins and 1 £2 coins so 2+1+1+1= £5 so they share the 3 £1 coins between each other (the 3 people) and give the £2 coin to the waiter now here comes the working out bit: so if the 3 people get £1 back they actually give the waiter £9 because of the £1 minus so £9 times 3 people = £27 and add the £2 given to the waiter to equal £29 so where is the £1 gone??????????????? if u know the answer reply back

thats so stupid u added 9+9+9=27 but they gave him 10+10+10=30 he gave them each £1 and a £2 coin they gave the £2 to him as a tip so they each have £1 the waiter has £2 and the restaurant has £25 and when u add 9+9+9 u r geting rid of the 3 pounds thats why it adds up to 27 cause u TOOK THE DAMN 3 POUNDS AWAY and so we have 2 people that confested vice has £1 iced has £1 but who has the other £1

You don't add the £2 given to the waiter. It part of the £9 each, so it's already been counted as an outgoing expense. You could take it away instead, giving £27-£2 = £25, the cost of the meal.

If you instead want to know where the £30 is, then the waiter has the £27 (including the £2), and the other 3x£1 they were given back.
