There are so many reasons why all the companies such as the main 4 each with consoles out or coming out..Sega,Sony,Microsoft and Nintendo,should not join together to make one console but i as a hardcore gamer think that this would be a great idea for there to be one console on the market.To think we would get the best games from all the developers,no more of this exclusive rubbish where titles are only coming out on certain formats.We couls have the marios team up with sonic in an online adventure,the prospects are enormous,With Sony's marketting and the best games developers(Sega,Nintendo)and Microsofts money,that console would rule the world,take over from PC's and have the power to realise our dreams in games and interactive movies.This will never happen for all of them but what if say 2 companies joined together like Sega and Ninetndo,that would just be embarrassing for the other consoles because of the games they would produce,Shenmue meets Zelda.Know that would be a game.Everything in the world is blocking them to stop this revolution from happening but if it did the gaming pleasures would flow and freedom would rain.Gaming would of never had it so good if the 4 where to become one.

1 company means they can charge 1 high price, and release a bunch of lame titles, without fear of competition.

If they join together they could produce a console called COSTABOMB and it would dominate the world like WINDOWS does (which incidentally accounts for about 10% of the cost of a new PC).

It would be nice if they did join together but it would not happen, there are too many compliated issues that would stop it.
