Completely unrelated I know but, hey, its nearly christmas. No, honestly, it is. This being the future of gaming though I thought Id giveyou my views on the topic. The future of gaming lies not in the new "we have quedos" Playstation II, not in the Dreamcast with its annoyingly chunky graphics, but in the X-Box or PC's (if they ever come down to reasonable prices). Basically, the reason for this is that, however hard they try, software companies and programmers will never beat the ideal oponent-humans. No amount of money can recreate that cunning or guile of a hman. Via the internet, there are millions of opponents, giving you an inexaustable supply of opponents. Also, RPG's could be played against real people, but in speeded up time. What do you think? Will consoles ever give us the difficulty of a real opponent?
