David Beckham has reportedly broken a rib in the game on wednesday night against Bayer Leverkusen and will be out of action for upto 6 weeks which means he may miss the following games (amongst others perhaps)

West Ham (A)
Newcastle (H)
Liverpool (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (H)
FC Basle
Deportivo

Clearly this wont help Man Utds chances of glory this season with so many BIG games coming up.

Really bad news for Man Utd but we need Roy Keane back.

the beeb are making a big deal of the fact that Beckham is still attending the england get-together next week.

"Beckham fulfills england duty"

What toss. He's going for a meal and a handshake with the queen. "oooooooh".

Philistines.

Hoho :)

Im sure i wasnt alone when i jumped 10 feet in the air (scoring 10 perfect 6.0's for artistic impression) as he banged that freekick in against Greece sending us to the World Cup...

We owe him for that at least :p

Well im hoping that the press have again blown this way out of proportion and that Becks is out for no longer than 3 weeks at maximum, it would be tragic for both him, Man Utd and ofcourse the fans if this injury was as serious as we are told it is.

Im not a Man Utd fan but im sure i speak for most people when i say that no-one likes to see the wolrds best players miss such important games through injury.
