Clearing through my parent's house the other day I found some of my old magazines. Among them are the first issues of Official Playstation mag, and even older than that, PC Zone (with the old 3 1/2" disc on the front!) from 1993.
Inside the PC Zone mag was an advert for a certain company called Special Reserve, whose logo consisted of a slanted calligraphy Special Reserve sign! The price for membership was still £6.99, so it's nice to see that they've kept the price from rising and the PC section had a key so you could tell if the discs were high density or standard!
Anyway, I'm being forced to get rid of a lot of the games mags now, due to space. They're in really good condition, so if anyone wants them I'm sure we can arrange something.
Nice to have a bit of a nostalgia trip while it lasted though!
